- Planning our school garden
- World book day
- Organising a basket-ball lunch time league
- Organising whole school Easter activities
World Book Day
For World Book day two of our members dressed up as their favourite book character and toured the classes promoting and motivating all students to engage in World Book Day by bringing in their favourite book or story to share with their classmates. Other members decided to make posters, to promote world book day, that we could display around the school.

Bug Hotel
The Student Council had discussed designing and creating a bug motel and bird boxes for our garden. As we know Spring is a time for new growth especially in our gardens. The weather has been so sunny and warm that I am sure everyone has been out planting flowers and maybe creating their own bug hotels and bird boxes! Below are some examples of bird feeders made from recycled materials.

If this is indeed the case and you would like to share some of your pictures of flowers or vegetables that you have planted or even something you made for your garden you can send them to the school e-mail address allen.nationalschool@gmail.com and we can share your amazing pictures on the school website.
