Boards of Management of primary schools are appointed for a four-year term. Our current Board of Management will serve for the four-year term from 1st December 2023 – 30th November 2027.

It is the duty of the Board of Management to manage the school in a child-centred manner. The Board manages the school on behalf of the patron, for the benefit of the pupils and to provide an appropriate education for each student who attends our school.

Our Board of Management has eight members and is made up of nominees from our Patron, our parent body, our teaching staff and, the local community. Together these nominees form the Board of Management and act as one governance body to provide leadership and ensure the effective and efficient management of the school.

Board of Management meetings are held frequently throughout the school year and agreed reports issue, as relevant, to all of the education partners after each meeting.
