School Uniform

Allen NS Uniform

It is school policy that all pupils – Junior Infants to 6^th Class – must wear the school uniform unless for particular sensory or medical reasons this is not advised.

All parents are asked to co-operate and support the wearing of the school uniform as it is part of our Code of Behaviour. Parents will be contacted if their child/children come to school and are not wearing their uniform.

The uniform is worn on all days except Wednesdays and Fridays when the PE uniform should be worn.

Crests can be sourced from the school office.

Most items with the exception of the school tracksuit can be sourced in high street shops.

The uniform and tracksuit are stocked in the following shops:

Our Uniform is as Follows

Girls

The girls’ uniform consists of a light blue shirt/polo t-shirt, royal blue jumper/cardigan with grey skirt/pinafore or grey slacks. Royal blue tie is optional.

Boys

The boys’ uniform consists of a light blue shirt/polo t-shirt, royal blue jumper and grey slacks. Royal blue tie is optional

PE Tracksuit

The school tracksuit is only to be worn on P.E. days i.e. Wednesdays and Fridays, on school trips or on occasions designated by the Principal. Runners are to be worn when doing PE.

Pre-Loved Uniform Sales

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) hosts ‘Pre-loved Uniform Sales’ to assist with the reuse of uniforms which are in good condition. For information on these sales contact the school office.
